Abstract

Masa usia dini merupakan periode emas yang menentukan kualitas pertumbuhan fisik, perkembangan kognitif, dan kematangan sosial-emosional anak. Pemenuhan gizi yang seimbang pada tahap ini menjadi faktor kunci dalam mendukung pembentukan jaringan otak, kesehatan tubuh, serta kemampuan berinteraksi dengan lingkungan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji peran asupan makanan terhadap optimalisasi tumbuh kembang anak usia dini. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi pustaka dengan menelaah berbagai sumber ilmiah nasional dan internasional, meliputi jurnal, buku, dan laporan resmi lembaga kesehatan. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa kecukupan zat gizi makro dan mikro sejak masa prenatal hingga usia lima tahun berkontribusi signifikan terhadap pembentukan generasi yang sehat, cerdas, dan berdaya saing. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya kolaborasi antara orang tua, tenaga kesehatan, dan pemerintah dalam mengintegrasikan intervensi gizi, stimulasi psikososial, dan dukungan lingkungan yang berkelanjutan
