Peer Review Process

Peer Review Process

QOUBA: Jurnal Pendidikan

QOUBA: Jurnal Pendidikan implements a rigorous, objective, and transparent peer review process to ensure the scientific quality, originality, and academic integrity of all published articles. The journal applies a double-blind peer review system, in which the identities of authors and reviewers are concealed from each other throughout the evaluation process.

1. Initial Editorial Screening

All submitted manuscripts are first examined by the Editorial Board to ensure alignment with the journal’s scope and focus, compliance with author guidelines, and fulfillment of minimum academic standards. At this stage, manuscripts are also checked using plagiarism detection software. Manuscripts with a high similarity index or those that fall outside the journal’s scope will be rejected without proceeding to peer review.

2. Double-Blind Review Process

Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are assigned to at least two independent reviewers with expertise relevant to the manuscript’s subject area. The review is conducted anonymously (double-blind) to ensure objectivity and fairness.

Reviewers assess the manuscript based on the following criteria:

  • Originality and novelty

  • Relevance to educational studies

  • Appropriateness of theoretical framework and literature review

  • Rigor of research methodology and data analysis

  • Clarity of presentation and academic writing quality

  • Contribution to the advancement of educational knowledge

3. Review Decision

Based on the reviewers’ recommendations, the Editor will issue one of the following decisions:

  • Accepted without revision

  • Accepted with minor revisions

  • Accepted with major revisions

  • Rejected

Authors requested to revise their manuscripts must submit the revised version along with a detailed response to reviewers’ comments within the specified deadline.

4. Final Decision

The final decision regarding publication is made by the Editor-in-Chief based on reviewers’ evaluations and the revised manuscript. The Editor-in-Chief holds full authority in determining the publication eligibility of a manuscript.

5. Publication Ethics

QOUBA: Jurnal Pendidikan adheres to international standards of publication ethics and expects all authors, reviewers, and editors to uphold academic integrity, confidentiality, and the avoidance of conflicts of interest.

Kalau Abang Hasan mau, saya bisa buatkan versi yang lebih “SINTA-ready” dengan tambahan:

  • review timeline (e.g., 2–6 weeks),

  • maximum similarity threshold (≤20%),

  • open access statement,

  • and DOI policy.

Biar halaman QOUBA makin kokoh secara akreditasi.
