Abstract

Artikel ini mengkaji knowledge integration model sebagai model sinergi antara sains modern dan nilai keislaman dalam pendidikan tinggi Islam. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode kajian pustaka dan analisis filosofis-sintetik. Kerangka teoretis dibangun secara berlapis: paradigma Integrasi-Interkoneksi Amin Abdullah sebagai grand theory, Pengilmuan Islam Kuntowijoyo sebagai middle theory, Islamization of Knowledge al-Attas dan al-Faruqi serta Sacred Science Seyyed Hossein Nasr sebagai supporting theory, dan Maqāṣid-Based Integration Jasser Auda sebagai applied theory. Temuan utama menunjukkan bahwa knowledge integration model menuntut lima dimensi sinergi fundamental: (1) sinergi epistemologis antara wahyu, rasio, dan pengalaman empiris; (2) sinergi metodologis antara pendekatan bayani, burhani, dan irfani; (3) sinergi aksiologis antara nilai-nilai keislaman dan etika sains modern; (4) sinergi institusional antara fakultas ilmu agama dan ilmu umum; (5) sinergi pedagogis antara pengajaran, riset, dan pengabdian masyarakat. Artikel ini mengidentifikasi enam pilar operasional knowledge integration model: integrasi kurikulum berbasis maqāṣid, pengembangan metodologi riset lintas-disiplin, penguatan kapasitas dosen integratif, transformasi tata kelola, pengembangan ekosistem inovasi, dan internasionalisasi pendidikan tinggi Islam. Penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa knowledge integration model menuntut pergeseran dari paradigma dikotomis-fragmentaris ke paradigma sinergis-integratif, dari pendekatan monolitis-essentialist ke pendekatan pluralistik-kontekstual, serta dari epistemologi tertutup ke epistemologi terbuka-dialogis. Implikasi praktis adalah perlunya pendidikan tinggi Islam mengembangkan ekosistem akademik yang mengintegrasikan sains modern dan nilai keislaman sebagai sumber pengetahuan yang saling melengkapi, serta membangun komunitas epistemologis lintas-disiplin yang mampu menjembatani tradisi dan modernitas dalam menghadapi tantangan era kecerdasan buatan.
