Transformative Educational Management: Sintesis Kepemimpinan Visioner dan Budaya Akademik Modern

Artikel ini mengkaji transformative educational management sebagai sintesis antara kepemimpinan visioner dan budaya akademik modern dalam menghadapi kompleksitas transformasi pendidikan tinggi abad ke-21. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode kajian pustaka dan analisis konseptual-sintetik. Kerangka teoretis dibangun secara berlapis: Transformational Leadership Theory (Bass & Riggio) sebagai grand theory, Learning Organization Theory (Senge) dan Culture of Change Theory (Fullan) sebagai middle theory, Organizational Culture Theory (Schein) sebagai supporting theory, serta Innovative University Theory (Christensen & Eyring) sebagai applied theory. Temuan utama menunjukkan bahwa transformative educational management menuntut lima sintesis fundamental: (1) sintesis antara visi transformatif dan eksekusi strategis; (2) sintesis antara kepemimpinan inspiratif dan budaya akademik kolaboratif; (3) sintesis antara inovasi disruptif dan kontinuitas institusional; (4) sintesis antara akuntabilitas kinerja dan otonomi akademik; (5) sintesis antara globalisasi pendidikan dan kontekstualisasi lokal. Artikel ini mengidentifikasi enam dimensi operasional transformative educational management: visioning strategis, capacity building, cultural transformation, innovation ecosystem, stakeholder engagement, dan adaptive governance. Penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa keberhasilan transformasi pendidikan tidak dapat dicapai melalui kepemimpinan heroik individual atau reformasi struktural parsial, melainkan melalui integrasi sistematis antara kepemimpinan visioner yang inspiratif dan budaya akademik yang mendukung inovasi, kolaborasi, dan pembelajaran berkelanjutan. Implikasi praktis adalah perlunya lembaga pendidikan mengembangkan kapasitas kepemimpinan transformasional pada multiple levels, membangun budaya akademik yang berorientasi pada keunggulan dan inovasi, serta merancang tata kelola yang adaptif terhadap turbulensi lingkungan.
