Abstract

Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) memiliki peran penting dalam membentuk perilaku dan kepribadian siswa melalui proses internalisasi nilai moral dan spiritual Islam. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh PAI terhadap perkembangan sikap positif, kontrol diri, serta perilaku sosial siswa. Dengan menggunakan metode kajian pustaka kualitatif, penelitian ini menelaah temuan teori dan studi empiris terkait pembentukan karakter melalui praktik pendidikan Islam. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa PAI berkontribusi signifikan dalam meningkatkan kedisiplinan, kejujuran, pengendalian emosi, dan perilaku prososial siswa. Temuan ini mengandung implikasi bahwa PAI menjadi landasan strategis bagi pembentukan karakter siswa secara holistik di lingkungan pendidikan modern
