QAZI: Journal of Islamic Studies is a peer-reviewed academic journal dedicated to the advancement of scholarly research in the field of Islamic studies. The journal serves as a platform for researchers, academics, and practitioners to disseminate high-quality research that critically engages with classical Islamic scholarship and contemporary issues within Muslim societies. QAZI aims to foster intellectual dialogue that bridges tradition and modernity, integrating textual scholarship, socio-legal analysis, and interdisciplinary approaches to Islamic thought.
The journal welcomes original research articles that contribute to theoretical development, methodological innovation, and critical discourse in Islamic studies. The journal prioritizes manuscripts that demonstrate strong theoretical grounding, critical engagement with primary and secondary sources, and relevance to contemporary scholarly discourse.
QAZI: Journal of Islamic Studies is published twice a year (June and December).
QAZI applies a double-blind peer review system, ensuring that both authors and reviewers remain anonymous throughout the evaluation process. Each manuscript is reviewed by at least two independent experts in the relevant field to maintain academic rigor, objectivity, and fairness.
QAZI: Journal of Islamic Studies provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
All submitted manuscripts are screened using plagiarism detection software. Manuscripts with a similarity index exceeding the acceptable threshold will be rejected or returned to authors for revision.
QAZI adheres to international standards of publication ethics. Authors, reviewers, and editors are expected to uphold principles of academic integrity, confidentiality, transparency, and avoidance of conflicts of interest. Any form of academic misconduct, including plagiarism, data fabrication, or unethical citation practices, will result in rejection or retraction.
